Yes, it’s been a few days. I actually have a backlog of two workouts to post. I’ll save those for another day. This week’s theme will be 90 second blocks.
First two pics are the exercise demos. Third pic illustrates modification ideas. Swipe through for settings for your “Timer App”. This workout consists of 5 blocks. Perform 2-6 rounds. Each round is a total of 7 minutes and 30 seconds. So this workout can easily be 15 minutes to 45 minutes. Even ONE round absolutely counts. You can squeeze 7.5 minutes in, right? Well, I strongly advise a quick warm-up so, 10 minutes! 😊
This workout can use equipment or not. And I demonstrate those. Grab some heavy stuff and/or a towel not for sweat but for back work!
Few form notes: eliminate rounding in the spine, exhale and feel the brace in the spine, stick your butt out and keep your chest up in your squats. And anytime you need to bend your knees, HINGE at your hips first then bend you knees, please. xoxo

¿Did you know that each color that the fruit/vegetable has says something about its health benefits?
For example, 🍎Red fruits and 🍅vegetables are coloured by a natural plant pigment called lycopene. Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant that can help reduce the risk of cancer and keep our heart healthy.
Or, yellow and orange fruits and vegetables are coloured by carotenoids. A well-known carotenoid called Betacarotene is found in sweet potatoes, pumpkins and carrots. It is converted to vitamin A, which helps maintain healthy mucous membranes and healthy eyes.
So my advice is HAVE a RAINBOW 🌈 Of colours on YOUR PLATE.

I don’t believe it is all about the exterior, but I do believe when we feel good -in whatever way that may look like to each of us - the better we can be for ourselves and those around us.

I do it because it makes me feel good- not because I’m trying to force my body to look a certain way. We can be fit at any age and there should be no guilt from that- only pride, celebration, joy and the desire to help others do the same- because we all deserve that..

Question☝🏼: What Fitness Trainer do you currently use for live workouts?
One bright thing about our new ‘reality’ is that social media is being used in a positive way. In the Fitness World, there are so many people sharing their skills by posting workouts & providing live content.
I think it’s cool that we have the opportunity to train with some of the best in the Fitness World by following their virtual workouts, whether it’s a Nike Master trainer, a superstar CrossFit athlete, or a celebrity trainer.
That being said, everyone has their favorite ‘fitness personality’, which has a lot to do with who tunes in to a certain workout or follows a certain program.
I’m curious who some of your favorites are that are live steaming workouts now. Who do you think not only has a killer workout, but is also super motivating & positive? It can be any type (strength, HIIT, Yoga, etc)
