So, my #RunCoach@brucejackson.ocr has issued a challenge to #RunYourAge between today and next Monday. As a general rule, I don't back down from a challenge but this one will be a REAL challenge. 1) because I'm a terrible runner who is coming off an almost 1 month hiatus from it and 2) BECAUSE I'M OLD, so that's a lot of miles for me!
I'm 43 (👵), by my math, I need about 6.14 miles each day this week. I'm gonna try and bank a little extra each day just to be sure I don't come up short. I ran 4.25 this morning and just went out for another 2.20 tonight.
Most days I don't feel my age, maybe more like 32, can't we just go with that, Coach?!?!🙃
First nice day in about a week so took advantage of the sunshine to hit the trails and clear my head. In this difficult time it’s important to make sure you’re taking the time for self care. Strong body, Strong mind 💪🏻😊🇺🇸

Spent some time with [Insert tire name here]. Still can't seem to find that perfect name. Did some flips which my wrist wasn't too happy with but 🤷♀️. Also, got some drags in ✊. Literally over here dreaming of @theironasylum and all my races. But I'm getting in good mileage and making a lot of progress with my running which I know will translate well onto the course. Super thankful for all my competitive friends who keep me accountable and force me to find a way to make it happen. ❤
